We work according to the partially open concept. The children have set rhythms (morning circle, lunch) in their regular groups as well as a go-to person they can rely on in their daily routine. The children are free to decide in which of the child-friendly functional rooms (building, exercise, creative work, reading corner, etc.) they want to spend time in to play, move, peacefully read a book or follow a different interest. The children are given a safe setting in which they can move around freely to pursue what is important to them and make their own decisions. The qualified educators accompany them in the process, actively listening, advising and supporting the children.
The partially open concept promotes independence and self-motivated activities on part of the children who we perceive to be curious, active and interested personalities.
