Since 2016, we have seen close cooperation between our Eulennest kindergarten and the nearby Uhlenhorst campus. The Uhlenhorst campus offers support to nearly 40 teenagers with learning difficulties at the end of their schooling for their start into working life.

Stiftung Kindergärten Finkenau has entered into a partnership with Haus Mignon. It is our objective to provide quality support for early intervention, especially for children under the age of 3. The Haus Mignon staff’s experience and specialist knowledge help us in the process.

Kampnagel is a world-renowned international production house that presents contemporary performing arts as well as concerts, conferences and a variety of different festivals and themed events. Since 2024, Finkenau has been cooperating with Kampnagel with regard to daycare places and cultural education programs for children.

The foundation »Haus der kleinen Forscher« seeks to bring about more education for everyone by supporting projects in day-care centres and educational institutions. “We’re proud of our own researcher network. One of our educators has upgraded his qualifications and now trains our staff.”

The KKH is a project partner for “Kleine Essperten – ganz groß” (“Great little eating experts”). You’ll find a newspaper article about this in Hamburger Abendblatt (in German) here.

Since the beginning of 2012, we only use green electricity from LichtBlick at Finkenau.

As a spin-off of the design agency skvint, NETWORK.HAMBURG supports the Finkenau in a number of graphic and communicative tasks. The stringently developed visual language of print products, website and social media channels has been in the same hands since 2014.

The Philharmonische Staatsorchester Hamburg has partnered up with the music kindergarten, which is one of our facilities. Musicians from the orchestra visit the music kindergarten every 2 weeks and allow the children to become familiar with the instruments.

Dr Kristina Calvert is a consultant for creative potential in Hamburg at Philosophieren mit Kindern Hamburg e.V. (which translates as Philosophising with Children Hamburg registered society). As a member of Kollektiv Umordnung, she assists us with her know-how in the pilot project for cultural education in early childhood and offers philosophy courses for children.

The Hamburg State Opera is a cooperation partner of our music kindergarten. Music director Kent Nagano has been patron of the institution since 2015. Members of the state opera ensemble and choir share their passion for music with the children by visiting the music kindergarten at regular intervals.

We cooperate with Triple P Germany: Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) is a globally recognized parenting program. At Finkenau, employees have completed training as Triple P short counselors. We provide parents whose children we look after with free access to the Triple P online program. We also offer parents a brief personal consultation with the Triple P content free of charge.

We have been working closely with the Waterkant Academy and founder Christel van Dieken since 2021. All Finkenau facilities use the digital learning workshop to bring innovative spatial concepts to life in everyday daycare and to further develop daycare practice.
