During the holidays we offer varied excursions. Every week the children decide at the children’s conference which excursions they want to take. In addition, the after-school care club offers the children lots of possibilities to pursue their own ideas and needs.
Please contact us by phone or email so that we can discuss the registration process with you and conclude a contract. Only the booking of the required childcare is completed in the school office. We deal with all other organisational matters.

The after-school care club has its own premises and a large garden. For follow-up care, we also have access to the schoolyard and the rooms of the school.
Lunch takes place during the schooltime period of the Winterhude all-day school. Each learning group (class) has its own meal time. Educators and teachers supervise the children while they are eating.
We take up the interests of the children and develop these with them, which results in highly varied projects of different sizes in the follow-up care periods and the holidays.
During lessons, we accompany the children in their learning, support them in acting independently, offer workshops and are mindful of ensuring a respectful environment together.
Cooperation // History // Spatial concept
The WI*R Finken after-school care club has been cooperating with the Winterhude district school (WiR) since 2007. The specialised after-school care staff is there to assist the class in a back-up role, offers activities and supervision in breaks and runs workshops with different areas of interests. Educators and teachers work closely together as a team. They have jointly been training children at primary school level to become mediators since 2014. In addition to its own premises, all school rooms are available to the after-school care club in the periods of follow-up care.
Free playing time
During follow-up care, the children can pursue their interests and needs at will in our facilities and the schoolyard. We support them in their chosen activities.
We always strive to keep news up-to-date, but binding statements and announcements as well as information on closing times are only available from the facility itself.
